We loved staying in Gamla Stan, it is so quaint with all the beautiful tall old buildings and cobblestone streets. There are restaurants and shops everywhere and this Airbnb is right in the heart of it. We were more toward the back/side so it was quiet, but no view. That really didn’t matter since we were on the go. The location was great for the things we wanted to do. The Airbnb was as expected. William told us that the bathroom was off the master bedroom. We were a little desperate to find an Airbnb in Gamla Stan, so it was a little inconvenient for 5 adults, but we made it work. The bedrooms are small, so we put our luggage in the living area. It was a slight inconvenience, but not a big deal. It was a little more pricey than other Airbnbs we stayed at on our 3 week tour of 4 countries, but it was understandable since it was Gamla Stan in Stockholm. The location was worth it to us.
William was very helpful. We had a little scheduling snag, but he diligently helped us through it.

Elias apartment was very clean and well kept. Very close to metro station and located in a nice walkable area. The checkin process and unlocking the doors using an app is a little new to me but it worked out in the end. Make sure to read the messages carefully.

We booked the apartment for four people for a four-day city trip, not only because of its popular location but also for the convenient access to public transport. It’s a 15-minute walk to the Skanstull metro station and a 4-minute walk to the bus stop. It was very quiet and we slept really well – the bed and the sofa bed were very comfortable. As noted, the construction work takes place Monday through Friday. I’d recommend bringing earplugs or heading down for breakfast from 7:00 a.m. Opposite the apartment is a Coop supermarket, and a 10-minute walk away is a 7-Eleven for late-night snacks. The apartment is minimalist and pleasantly cool – it has everything you need.
